Description
Vitec® 1500 is a liquid antiscalant designed to inhibit or reduce calcium fluoride, calcium sulfate, calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, barium sulfate, and strontium sulfate scale. It is especially effective in feedwaters where there is potential for high concentrations of inorganic fouling such as waste water reclaim/reuse. This antiscalant effectively stabilizes metal ions and disperses metal oxides in the reject and may eliminate the need to inject acid. When used as recommended, Vitec 1500 will prevent scale formation and decrease the frequency of membrane cleanings, resulting in the reduction of overall operating costs.
Vitec 1500 is environmentally friendly where discharge of waste is a concern and has been certified by NSF International under NSF/ANSI Standard 60 for use in systems producing drinking water.
