Recently Complete Water Solutions was called out to evaluate and existing RO System. The customer was experiencing excessive membrane replacement and had multiple problems. The system was using anti-scalant and sodium bisulfite to control hardness and chlorine prior to the RO System.

After reviewing the system we found that the antiscalant was not being monitored and the chlorine changed daily resulting in under or overfeeding bisulfite. Looking for an easier option, we selected to remove the chemical treatment and go with standard mechanical equipment.
