Library Of Congress RO Upgrade
Recently Complete Water Solutions was awarded a project to upgrade an Osmonics E8-57K-DLX Reverse Osmosis System for the Library Of Congress. The RO System had a few obsolete items on it such as the Lakewood 2450 Controller and the Allen Bradley Micrologix 1000. The RO System unfortunately went down and needed to be upgraded.
In a previous blog posting regarding the Lakewood 2450 Controller and the Micrologix 1000 controllers Complete Water Solutions offered two (2) options to upgrade the RO System controller components.

The Library Of Congress selected the PLC Upgrade Option. Due to timing constraints, the PLC was mounted below the old controller to fast track the installation. The upgrade also included new probes and sensors, along with performing a PM on the Osmonics E8-57K-DLX RO System to make sure it was running in good condition.
While onsite, Complete Water checked out all the other water systems as well. We also took the opportunity to train personnel onsite and gave insight on how water treatment systems function, preventative maintenance items as well as daily water testing and readings.
