Activated carbon for use as an active ingredient (Activated Charcoal, Carbo Activatus) is also supplied by NORIT. Our API grades are used to treat:

NORIT SX SUPER powdered activated carbon is a high porous activated carbon designed especially to improve the metal dispersion over a huge internal surface area, can be used to recover precious and other non-ferrous metals from spent industrial catalysts or complex liquid streams.
Its unique raw materials origin, high porosity and fine particle size result in a high adsorption capacity for metals.
