Veolia MX series cartridge filter housings are designed for use with hydrocarbon removal filter cartridges. These filter cartridges are spunbound polypropylene infused with patented chemistry that increases the hydrophobic nature of the material, rendering it highly
oil absorbent and water repellant. The cartridges will remove free and separate phase oils and emulsified oils from waste streams.
The Veolia MX housings can be preceded by the Veolia MP2/Veolia MX-P2 hydrocarbon removal bag filter unit that removes the greater portion of oily contaminants before they enter the polishing Veolia MX housing stage.
