MB-3USTD-BS-A (H/OH forms) resin is designed to provide ultra-pure water required for many applications such as for micro-electronic and pharmaceutical productions. The component resins are specially selected to ensure – ultra-pure water grade low conductivity (resistivity > 18 megohms) and low effluent TOC values.
The product is a special blend of specially processed Type I strong base gel type, color-indicating anion exchange resins (A307U-BS, OH) with 8% cross-linked strong acid porous gel type cation exchange resins (C108U,H). The special blending is to ensure excellent regeneration capabilities for inorganic and organic ions. The anion resin will change color from blue (OH form) to white (exhausted forms), which provides the operator with indication of resin exhaustion. After regeneration it will be converted back to the blue color.
